Cobalt is a hard shiny slivery grey metal. Within the Earth's crust it is only founded in combination with other elements. Except for small quantities that are alloyed with meteoric iron. In the human body cobalt is stored in the liver, kidney, spleen, pancreas, red blood cells and blood plasma.
